2 Rhinos completed in 3 weeks, that shows how slow my progress is, let alone I already missed my March dateline. I have to blame my busy schedule at the moment so this project's dateline will be extended indefinitely. As mentioned previously, I'm for going for a snow themed army thus the heavy snow effect on the Rhinos. The snow effect was actually a mixture of water, GW snow and PVA glue. Instead of applying glue and sprinkle the snow on the tank surface, I mixed all the elements in a small jar until you get a certain snow thickness. Then I used an old brush and started layering the snow on the surface. This method will allow you to get a better snow effect and avoiding the unwanted snow residue if you use the normal 'snow over glue' method. Check out the pics below.
I used the similar technique on the Long Fangs but not too much on their armor plates and missile launchers. Just enough for them to appear rugged befitting their Fenrisian snow environment.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. In the meantime enjoy the pics and I'll see you guys in the next post. Laters..
Waw! Nice job, bro.
