This is the final version of my scratch built Warhound project. It looked decent enough for any Apoc games and well, I think it was not bad for my first tryout. I've identified few areas that can be improved in future projects especially in the leg joints and weaponry. I'm planning to build 2 more by the end of this year and maybe, just maybe a Reaver Titan. They will all belong to the Legio Ignatum and part of my support unit for my Cadian 7th Battle Group.
Nicely done dude! That looks fantastic- definitely would work great for any Legio Apoc battle, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks dude! Your kind words always an inspiration. Can't wait to test this baby on Legio tables!
ReplyDeletedude, where'd you get the templates from?
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing! Looking forward to seeing this on the side of the Imperium!

@Faizal- Cun! I know you posted the site for the templates in your earlier post but I couldn't save or print it out properly. Do you have it in any other format?
ReplyDelete@dif2find- I want also... :)
Thanks guys! :)
ReplyDeleteDoc, Vuel: I will email the template now. Its in pdf format by the way.
If anybody else wants template, do let me know and I can email it straight. Thanks
ReplyDeleteamazing work. while i love scratchbuilding, i have never quite dared to try a titan. maybe a knight first :)
ReplyDeleteOver all I think it looks very good.
ReplyDeleteMy only comment would be that it loks like it needs a little more surface detailing, like rivets or panel lines. But that's just small stuff compared to how much you've done already.
I really like it, great job.
@Atreides: Thanks dude! U shud give it a go, its not that hard actually.
ReplyDelete@LuckyNo.5: Yep I agree with u. Sometimes the small details made all the differences. Will look into that in my next Titan construction.
Whoa -- this is a really nice job. Maybe the best scratch build I've seen for a Titan. I like the scale and the paint scheme is perfect. Fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteSteve -- 40k Terrain
@ Steve: Thank you sir! Gotta give it to the template creator as well as he did a great job on the template design.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what I can use to make the pistons?
ReplyDeleteI use straws for the pistons. Or you can use a plain paper, then roll it to your desired width. But straws are much easier.
